The End
Josh is a grown-up, serious dog now, as tame and quiet as usual.
He astonished us last summer when we were going on a long journey. Usually when we go for a walk to a meadow by the woods he gets impatient, runs towards the car and barks to hurry us up. That day he patiently waited for the end of the packing pandemonium. As if he had known that was a serious matter. When I made the final inspection of the house (the gas and the water turned off, plants watered
) and we were about to get on the car the dog disappeared. I called him but there was no answer. I went outside and saw Josh sitting quietly in the car (!) waiting for the rest of the family.
He used to spend summer heats on a beach under an umbrella, afternoons and nights on a terrace. Sometimes there were funny situations when he was lying sill he was taken for a cuddly toy.
And this is the end of our story...
Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if I had not met Ewelina and Jarek in the Kennel Club that day and I would not have had the chance to meet Holly and her puppies. Would any other dog be as fantastic as the one we have?
I have to admit, but it is a secret, that I consider having another dog (a Bernese, of course). Naturally Jasiek does not want to hear about it.
But we have gone through it already...
